State University with high honors in 1976. Upon graduating from the UNC School of Dentistry in 1980, he began his comprehensive general dentistry practice in New Bern, North Carolina. His philosophy of care has always been a commitment to continuing education. Dr. Hart received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1995 and then received his Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2006. In order to reach this level, Dr. Hart has completed over 2,000 hours of postgraduate training. From 1993 to 1999, Dr. Hart completed over 800 hours of continuing education in practice management with the Pride Institute. During this time, he joined their staff as a faculty speaker and later as a mentor for new students in the program. As a member of the NC Dental Society, the American Dental Association
