He completed his under graduate degree from Vassar College. Driven by his passion for medicine, he went on to pursue a medical degree at Lincoln Memorial University, where he graduated as a member of the national Sigma Sigma Pi medical honor society. Dr. Gilson honed his surgical expertise through a general surgery residency at Waterbury Hospital, followed by a rigorous plastics
