About Face and Body by Luzma

Prior to practicing in the area of aesthetics, I served as a registered nurse for more than 18 years in several capacities. These include trauma, critical care, emergency, and hospital education. In 2007, I earned my Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) degree from Florida International University in Miami, Florida. I then started my practice under the tutelage of a highly respected dermatologist and became certified in the specialty of dermal fillers and neurotoxins. I have extensive experience in laser therapy, Ultherapy treatments, Morpheus8 and Body, PRP injections and fillers and other aesthetic procedures. In 2015, I was selected as a top nurse practitioner by the International Nurse Association and was featured in the 2015 edition of worldwide leaders in health. In addition, in 2020 I was selected as a finalist in the MERZ Aesthetics: Faces of America competition. Here, I competed with some of the most prominent and respected cosmetic dermatologists injectors in America.
