Angela Yon-Fleites has over 20 years of experience in the medical field. She started in pediatrics where she worked ICU, outpatient moderate sedation cases, oncology, and medical surgery for over 10 years. Then, she slowly transitioned to adult care in acute and emergency settings while she attended FIU, to become a Nurse Practitioner. As an APRN, she worked as part of a rapid response team at Baptist Hospital, where she worked in an acute care setting to later settled in Primary Care. This is where she grew more interested in the art of anti-aging treatments. Her passion for functional and aesthetic medicine led her to the American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners where she received her Board Certification in 2012. Since then, she has been an avid scholar of preventive and integrative medicine. “In our current day and age, I consider our health care to be more reactive rather than preventive. We are not meant to be perfect but we are meant to be whole.
