About Dr. Constance Barone

Dr. Constance Barone is a board-certified plastic surgeon in San Antonio, Texas, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, with more than 25 years of experience. She earned her MD at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, completed a general surgery residency at Temple University and a plastic surgery residency at NYU, and trained in a craniofacial surgery fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore, where she developed a surgical technique for craniosynostosis. Dr. Barone previously served as Chief of Plastic Surgery at UT Health San Antonio's Long School of Medicine, and is known for awake, local-anesthesia surgery techniques and transumbilical (TUBA) breast augmentation. She also offers gender-affirming surgery.
