D.C. Surgical Arts was founded on the belief that our patients should come first. Our team s first commitment is to meet all of your health needs while ensuring that your experience is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It s this commitment to excellence and service that has allowed our practice to grow! We are so grateful for our high percentage of repeat patients and those who have referred their family and friends. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Tien received a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 1999. He then enriched his interest in biochemical engineering research and received a master s degree in chemical engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 2000, before pursuing a career in dentistry. He received his doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2005, graduating in the top third of his class. Dr. Tien completed his training in a 6-year oral and maxillofacial surgery program at New York University
