About Craig Baldenhofer MD

He is trained in advanced techniques of breast and body cosmetic surgery, fat grafting techniques, liposuction, and post-bariatric body contouring. Dr. Baldenhofer, a New Orleans native, earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Health Science Center in Shreveport. He began his surgical training in general surgery in New York City before completing a rigorous residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon. During this training period, he worked with world-class surgeons performing various cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeries. He then completed a highly regarded microvascular breast and aesthetic surgery fellowship. Dr. Baldenhofer has volunteered his time and expertise for reconstructive cleft lip and palate surgery in developing countries through Healing the Children, a not-for-profit volunteer organization.
