Central Florida Preventive Medicine is a solo holistic, integrative and functional medicine practice in Lake Mary, Florida, in the Orlando metro, led by Kathy Veon, DAOM, AP, CCN, Dipl. Ac. It is not an MD or DO practice: Dr. Veon is a licensed acupuncture physician and doctor of acupuncture and Oriental medicine as well as a board-certified clinical nutritionist, with more than 18 years of experience treating chronic and difficult-to-treat conditions. The practice combines functional medicine and laboratory testing with clinical nutrition, acupuncture, NAET allergy elimination, quantum reflex analysis, EVOX perception reframing therapy, cation mud therapy and iodine therapy, and addresses internal medicine, endocrine, neurological, dermatological, gynecological and addiction-related concerns. Laboratory work runs through Lab Corp for general and functional panels and GX Sciences for nutrigenomic and pharmacogenomic testing, and the practice maintains a supplement dispensary. Visits are by appointment only, and it serves patients across central Florida including Orlando, Winter Park, Sanford, Longwood, Altamonte Springs, Tampa and Ocala.
