About Kathy Veon
Kathy Veon, DAOM, AP, CCN, Dipl. Ac. is the owner and sole practitioner of Central Florida Preventive Medicine in Lake Mary, Florida. She is a board-certified licensed acupuncturist, a doctor of acupuncture and Oriental medicine, an acupuncture physician and a board-certified clinical nutritionist. She earned her advanced clinical doctoral degree from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine with a dual specialty in internal and physical medicine, and graduated with honors from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine. She serves as vice-chair of the Florida Board of Acupuncture, to which she was appointed by the governor in 2015 and which she chaired from 2017 to 2023, and as vice president of education for the International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists. Her clinical work addresses chronic illness through acupuncture, clinical nutrition therapies, functional medicine, NAET, quantum reflex analysis, pelotherapy and EVOX perception reframing therapy, and she also works with patients seeking help for addictions, mental and emotional disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder.
