Austin Gynecomastia Center is a plastic surgery practice in Austin, Texas dedicated to gynecomastia surgery, founded in 2010 by Robert Caridi, MD, FACS as a focused offshoot of his Westlake Plastic Surgery practice. The center states it has treated more than 6,000 gynecomastia cases and performs over 400 a year, drawing patients nationally and internationally. Dr. Caridi earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and completed his general and plastic surgery training in the Mount Sinai Hospital system in New York; he has been a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 1994 and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons since 1996. Procedures are performed at a private accredited surgical facility staffed by a full-time anesthesiologist. Alongside primary gynecomastia surgery the practice offers VASER male chest liposuction and revision gynecomastia surgery.
