About Yvonne Karney

Yvonne Karney, MD, FACOG founded Vitality Renewal Functional Medicine in Crystal Lake, Illinois in 2016 and serves as its executive medical director. She graduated from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and served eight years as a U.S. Air Force physician before entering OB/GYN practice in the Chicago suburbs, where she was department chair. A board-certified OB-GYN with more than twenty-five years in medicine, she also teaches functional medicine to other physicians and developed the practice's Hormone Locksmith framework.
