About Youn Sagong
Dr. Youn Sagong is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at Maxillo-Facial Surgery Institute in Irvine. He grew up in Southern California and earned a BS in Biology from UC San Diego, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Yale Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident. His special interests include complex surgical care of facial trauma, orthognathic reconstructive jaw surgery, bone grafting, and dental implants, and he holds a General Anesthesia Permit. He also performs complex oral and maxillofacial surgeries at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and UC Irvine Medical Center.
