About William H. Beeson
William H. Beeson, M.D. is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine who completed his residency at Indiana University Medical Center in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, followed by a fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a Clinical Professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine in both the Department of Dermatology and the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, and has authored several medical textbooks and numerous journal articles. He had the first facial plastic surgery facility accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, and was the first cosmetic surgeon in Indiana to perform carbon dioxide laser skin resurfacing and endoscopic forehead lift surgery. He is a Past President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the Indiana State Medical Association, the Indianapolis Medical Society, and the International Society for Cosmetic Laser Surgery. He directs clinical research projects at the Institute and has appeared on ABC's Good Morning America.
