About Timothy Marten

Timothy Marten, MD, FACS is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Founder and Director of the Marten Clinic of Plastic Surgery in San Francisco. Dr Marten is a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and recipient of a Certificate of Advanced Education in Aesthetic Surgery. Dr Marten has made over eight hundred scientific presentations at national and international symposia on aesthetic plastic surgery and has taught a generation of plastic surgeons advanced techniques in facial plastic surgery. Dr Marten has received numerous professional, scientific and academic awards for his contributions to plastic surgery including awards and certificates of recognition from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation, International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, the American Medical Association, Royal Australian College of Surgeons, the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Krefeld Department of Plastic Surgery, the Ekaterinburg Clinic, the Columbian Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Panamanian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Houston Society of Plastic Surgeons, the University of California Irvine Medical Center, and the University of California Davis Alumni Association.
