About Steven Chen
Steven Chen, MD, FACS is a board-certified ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon who founded Oculoplastic Consultants of Arizona in 2004. He graduated from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1989, completed an internship at Charity Hospital of New Orleans, an ophthalmology residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital in 1993, and an oculoplastic surgery fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak in 1994. He moved to Arizona in 1997 and holds clinical faculty appointments at Tulane University and the University of Arizona and an adjunct professorship at Arizona State University. He is a fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
