About Stephanie King
Stephanie King, FNP-C, APRN, DC is the founder of True Health Care in Salt Lake City, Utah, and a clinician with more than two decades of experience in hormone and functional medicine. Her background spans chiropractic medicine and advanced nursing: she holds a Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College and trained as a family practice nurse at Simmons University. She turned to functional medicine after researching and treating her mother's perimenopausal illness while in college, an experience she credits with setting the direction of her career. Her practice combines hormone optimization, functional medicine evaluation, peptide therapy and medically guided weight management into individualised treatment plans. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is the author of "Is it Me or is it Hot in Here?".
