About Sonya Ellis

Sonya Ellis, APRN, CPSN, CANS, ISPAN-F is a co-founder of the L.A.B. med spa in Southlake, Texas, where she is the lead injector and head trainer. Her career in plastic surgery and aesthetics began in 1998 and spans roughly thirty years, about twenty of them as an injector. Her bio page states she is one of two nurses in Texas certified in both aesthetic nursing and plastic surgical nursing, and that she also works as an operating room circulator and recovery nurse and handles pre-operative and post-operative plastic surgery visits. She serves as Aesthetic Chair on the board of directors of the International Society of Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Nursing and has been named a Master Injector by the Foundation for Aesthetic Medical Excellence. She leads the practice's L.A.B. aesthetic institute training program.
