About Solomiya Grushchak

Solomiya Grushchak, MD, FAAD, FACMS is a dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon at La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic & Dermatology in La Jolla, California, where she performs Mohs surgery. Her practice covers skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, procedural dermatology, laser surgery and cosmetic injectables. Ukrainian-born and Chicago-raised, she earned her MD at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, interned at Scripps Hospital in San Diego and completed a dermatology residency at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County as chief resident, then trained at the University of California, Irvine in cutaneous oncology, Mohs micrographic surgery, reconstruction, aesthetic medicine and laser surgery. She has published more than 30 research manuscripts and book chapters on facial anatomy and skin cancer, and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American College of Mohs Surgery.
