About Roger Smith

Roger Smith, MD, FACS is a general surgeon who leads the general surgery department at Beleza Surgery & Med Spa in Central Texas. He earned a BS in Human Biology with honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999 and his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 2003, completing his general surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in 2012. He previously practiced with Baylor Scott & White Health and has more than ten years of general surgery experience. His practice focuses on laparoscopic and open hernia repair, including inguinal and ventral or incisional hernias, as well as thyroid, gallbladder, appendix and breast procedures, along with liposuction and gynecomastia surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery.
