About Robert G. Spencer
Robert G. Spencer, MD is the owner and physician of The Fatigue Center in Edmond, Oklahoma, which he opened in 2022. He understands fatigue from experience: in 2014 he began having severe daily exhaustion and, after months of searching for answers, was diagnosed with Rocky Mountain spotted fever alongside vitamin deficiencies and food sensitivities. As he recovered he dedicated himself to studying fatigue, its causes and its treatment, having found that traditional primary care often lacks the time or resources to investigate. Born in Midwest City, Oklahoma, he graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1998 and the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2002, and completed his family medicine residency in 2006. He then moved to Watonga, Oklahoma, where he established a private practice and served as chief of staff and emergency medicine director at Mercy Hospital Watonga, spent eight years on the Watonga City Council and was honored as Citizen of the Year.
