About Robert B. Taylor III

Robert B. Taylor III, MD, FACS is an ophthalmologist at Shepherd Eye Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. He completed pre-medical studies at Southern Methodist University and earned his MD at the University of Texas at Houston, followed by an internship at the University of Pennsylvania and a residency at the University of Oklahoma Dean McGee Eye Institute. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He was among the first surgeons to offer conductive keratoplasty after its FDA approval. He joined Shepherd Eye Center in 2001.
