About Richard A. Burgett
Dr. Burgett combines patient care with medical education, serving as an Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology in the Department of Ophthalmology at Indiana University. He has been a clinical instructor for the IU Department of Ophthalmology, teaching ophthalmology residents, transitional interns and upper-level medical students. He has written articles and book chapters on ophthalmic plastic surgery topics. He directed the annual Orbital Anatomy Course at Methodist Research Institute and the Methodist Multidisciplinary Trauma Committee. He is a native of Indianapolis and practices at the Indianapolis/Carmel location.
