About Relief Jones III
Dr. Relief Jones III is a board-certified ophthalmologist and cataract and glaucoma surgeon who performs laser cataract surgery and minimally-invasive glaucoma surgical procedures. Born in Gretna, Louisiana, he graduated valedictorian of his high school class before attending Stanford University and Duke University School of Medicine, where he completed the Biomedical Engineering Research Track. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center and served as Team Physician for the San Antonio Rampage Hockey Team from 2010 to 2016. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and published a book for physicians on Physician Employment Contracts. He served as President of the San Antonio Society of Ophthalmologists from 2016 to 2017.
