About Rafael Hernandez Lora

Dr. Rafael Hernandez Lora is a co-founder of Nest Medical Center in Miramar, Florida. Originally from the Dominican Republic, he is board certified in Internal Medicine and specializes in Geriatric Medicine, with extensive experience in value-based medicine and clinical leadership. He completed his residency at Woodhull Medical Center in New York City and a geriatrics fellowship at NYU Langone, where he served as a Committee of Interns and Residents representative, co-founded the House Staff Safety Council and was named Fellow of the Year. He previously served as National Director of Acute and Post-Acute Care at Chen Medical and founded Domus Care Solutions, a home-based care service for seniors.
