About Michelle Sandwisch
Michelle "Mitch" Sandwisch is the family nurse practitioner who leads Origin Medicine, an integrative and functional medicine practice in Tacoma, Washington. She completed her family nurse practitioner degree at Georgetown University and discovered her passion for functional medicine through her personal wellness journey after being diagnosed with Crohn disease. She is certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and is an active member of the Institute for Functional Medicine. She has completed extensive coursework at the Institute for Functional Medicine covering bioenergetics, cognitive decline reversal, autoimmune disorders, cardiometabolic health, gastrointestinal health and environmental health. She also has advanced training in the Bredesen Protocol and in peptide, hyperbaric and IV therapies.
