About Michael Tahery
Dr. Michael Tahery has been in private practice in Los Angeles for over 20 years. He has served as Chief of Gynecology and Director of the Center of Excellence in Women's Continence & Pelvic Health at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he practiced and served as a surgical instructor to medical residents and fellows. He is one of the most active gynecological and urogynecological surgeons in Los Angeles and has performed more than 1,000 minimally invasive operations for fibroid tumors, endometriosis and pelvic pain, and more than 1,000 vaginal surgeries for pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence as well as cosmetic repair of the female genital area. He is a graduate of the Mayo Clinic in advanced pelvic surgery and urogynecology, with specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology from the University of New York, and obtained his medical license from the University of California, Irvine. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is an Assistant Professor of OB/GYN at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine.
