About Michael McCracken

Michael McCracken, MD, FACS is a board certified ophthalmologist with two additional years of specialized training in oculoplastic surgery, and leads the McCracken Eye and Face Institute. He moved to Denver in 2003 after a three-year ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois Chicago and a two-year oculoplastic fellowship at the University of California San Diego, and practiced in a Denver multispecialty group for nearly six years before creating his own center. He treats cosmetic and functional concerns of the eyes, eyelids, eyebrows, tear ducts, eye sockets, and face, and also performs FUE hair transplant surgery. He teaches at the annual American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting, has written textbook chapters and articles, and serves as an assistant preceptor for the University of Colorado ASOPRS oculoplastic fellowship. He has been chosen as a member of the Neurotoxin and Juvederm National Education Faculty.
