About Michael P. H. Lau

Michael P. H. Lau, MD, FACS, FACOG practises cosmetic and pelvic reconstructive surgery at Radiant Rejuvenation & Cosmetic Surgery in Edmonds, Washington. He earned his MB BS at the University of Hong Kong in 1977 after graduate study in nuclear physics and chemistry at the University of Washington, completed his internship at Queen Mary Hospital in Hong Kong, and his residency and chief residency in obstetrics and gynaecology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit under the urogynecology pioneer C. Paul Hodgkinson. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and later completed a two-year preceptorship in cosmetic surgery in Lynnwood, Washington. He has combined pelvic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery for over twenty years and now practises exclusively vaginal cosmetic surgery, working minimally invasively under local anaesthesia. He is licensed in Washington, Hawaii and the United Kingdom, holds an MBA from the University of Oxford, serves as clinical faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington School of Medicine, and holds several US patents in HIFU, laparoscopy and surgical mesh.
