About Michael Eggerstedt
Dr. Michael Eggerstedt is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a native of the Chicago suburbs. He completed residency in Head and Neck Surgery at Rush University Medical Center, where he performed over 3,000 procedures focused exclusively on the face, head, and neck and was recognized as Chief Resident. He then served as Clinical Instructor and Fellow in the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UCLA, splitting time between UCLA and Beverly Hills. He returned to Rush as Assistant Professor of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Director of Research in Facial Plastic Surgery, with over 80 research publications, book chapters, and presentations. He has performed 5,000+ procedures over 10+ years and sees patients in Chicago, Oak Brook, and Munster, IN.
