About Maureen M. Milota
Maureen M. Milota, APRN, NP-C is the sole provider at Great Lakes Integrative Medicine, serving Chicago and Evanston, Illinois, and LaPorte and Valparaiso, Indiana. She has over 20 years of healthcare experience and is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse in family practice with full practice authority. She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Notre Dame, her registered nursing education at Ravenswood College of Nursing, and her Master of Science in Nursing at Rush University, where she was selected as a resident for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Illinois Experiences and Rotations in Community Health Program. She completed the two-year integrative medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona's Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, the functional medicine certification curriculum through the Institute for Functional Medicine, and a two-year fellowship in integrative psychiatry through Psychiatry Redefined. Before entering integrative practice she worked as a firefighter paramedic, math teacher and college basketball coach, and she is adjunct faculty at the Rush University and Lewis University Colleges of Nursing.
