About Matthew Martin
Matthew Martin, M.D. attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, then continued his surgical training with the Grand Rapids/Michigan State University Plastic Surgery Residency program. He completed a dedicated Hand Surgery fellowship through the University of New Mexico and returned to Grand Rapids to join Elite Plastic Surgery in 2014. His areas of expertise include aesthetic breast surgery and body contouring, aesthetic surgery of the neck, face and eyelids, breast reconstructive surgery, and surgery of the hand and wrist. He is a clinical assistant professor through the Department of Surgery at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and was awarded Teaching Faculty of the Year in 2017. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
