About Matthew P. Fahrenkopf
Dr. Matthew P. Fahrenkopf, MD is a physician specializing in both Hand and Plastic Surgery at Elite Plastic Surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the Michigan State Medical Society, and serves as a clinical assistant professor through the Department of Surgery at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and continued his surgical education at the Grand Rapids/Michigan State University Surgery Residency Program. Following residency he completed an Orthopaedic Hand Surgery Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and returned to Grand Rapids in 2021 to join Elite Plastic Surgery. His areas of interest include hand and wrist surgery, microsurgery, soft tissue reconstruction, body contouring, and breast surgery.
