About Mark Carlson
Mark Carlson, MD, CCD is the medical director of Siouxland Adult Medicine in Sioux City, Iowa, and of the Siouxland Executive Wellness Center and Lipid Clinic. He has practiced internal medicine in Sioux City since 1989 and founded the Sioux City Hospitalists Program at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, where he served as its medical director. He completed his medical training at the University of Minnesota and at Abbott Northwestern and the Minneapolis Heart Institute, and is a long-time member of the National Lipid Association. His areas of expertise are cardiovascular risk prevention, advanced lipid management, anti-aging medicine, osteoporosis, diabetes and hypertension.
