Siouxland Adult Medicine is an internal medicine clinic in Sioux City, Iowa, treating patients aged 18 and over. It is led by medical director Mark Carlson, MD, CCD, who has practiced internal medicine in Sioux City since 1989, founded the Sioux City Hospitalists Program at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, and also directs the Siouxland Executive Wellness Center and Lipid Clinic. The clinic manages chronic disease including diabetes, heart disease, lipid disorders, hypertension, osteoporosis, respiratory disease and rheumatology, with in-office blood work, bone density testing, treadmill stress tests and spirometry. It also offers hormone and bioidentical hormone replacement including Biote pellets, testosterone therapy, medical weight loss, and comprehensive biomarker and genetic testing through a concierge membership program that runs alongside its acceptance of all insurance plans.
