About Mariel O. Watkins
Dr. Mariel O. Watkins is a highly trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon known for her thoughtful, artistic approach. Her philosophy centers on facial longevity: a personalized, preventative approach that blends surgical expertise, wellness, and intentional care over time. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health, Cum Laude, from Rutgers University and her Master of Health Science with Highest Honors from Meharry Medical College, where she later attended medical school and graduated at the top of her class. She completed her Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of Michigan, then pursued advanced fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Washington University in St. Louis. During fellowship she also obtained formal certification in coaching.
