About Larry Sargent
Larry A. Sargent, MD FACS is a native of Atlanta who studied mathematics at Georgia Institute of Technology on a Bobby Dodd scholarship before attending Emory University School of Medicine. He completed general and plastic surgery training at Johns Hopkins Hospital, studying craniofacial surgery under Dr. Paul Manson and later under Dr. Paul Tessier in Paris, France. He served four years in the United States Army at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He was Professor and Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the UT College of Medicine in Chattanooga for 20 years and Program Director of the plastic surgery residency for 18 years. He is now in private practice in Chattanooga with a certified in-office operative suite dedicated exclusively to cosmetic procedures.
