About Kristina O'Shaughnessy
Dr. Kristina O'Shaughnessy is a board-certified female plastic surgeon with over 17 years of experience specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast, and body. She attended the University of Florida on full academic scholarship, graduating with honors with a BS in Microbiology, then attended the University of Florida School of Medicine, where she earned several awards for outstanding research. She completed seven years of surgical training in the Integrated Plastic Surgery Program at Northwestern University in Chicago, followed by an advanced fellowship in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery under Dr. Patrick Maxwell in Nashville. She maintains hospital privileges at Centennial Medical Center, Williamson Medical Center, and the Grassland Plastic Surgery Center. She has received national awards for research in hypertrophic scarring and wound healing and regularly speaks at national conferences.
