About Kathleen Duerksen
Kathleen M. Duerksen, MD, FACS is a board-certified surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery of the face and eyes, as well as tumescent body liposuction. She serves as Director of the annual International Facial Fillers and Neurotoxin Physician Training Course. Botox has been part of her practice since 1988, and she offers a wide range of FDA-approved wrinkle fillers. A portion of her practice is devoted to reconstructive plastic surgery after skin-cancer removal, and she corrects malpositioned eyelids from aging or trauma. For liposuction she uses the tumescent technique, an outpatient procedure performed without general anesthesia.
