About Kat Khorrami
Kat Khorrami, MD is the founder, president and medical director of Allurant Medical Spa in the Carmel Valley area of San Diego, California. Raised in Canada, she studied at the University of Victoria and earned her medical degree at the University of Calgary. She practised emergency medicine for more than 30 years before concentrating on aesthetic and regenerative medicine, and is trained in advanced neurotoxin, dermal filler and regenerative treatments including Scarlet SRF. She oversees all medical services at the practice and reviews every provider's standard of care. She founded Allurant Medical Spa to provide physician-directed aesthetic care, and has also worked on humanitarian medical missions along the Amazon River in Brazil.
