About Karen S. Steed
Karen S. Steed, RN, FNP, CFMP, founded Innovative Healthcare Family Practice in Sherman, Texas in 2015, along with Innovative Wellness Center in McKinney. She studied at Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma in 2005 and earned a master''s degree in nursing from Graceland University in 2008. She earned certification in functional medicine from Functional Medicine University in 2018 and has more than two decades of general practice experience, including eight years dedicated to functional medicine. Her clinical focus covers comprehensive thyroid management, hormone optimization for women and men, cardiometabolic testing, gastrointestinal health and food sensitivities, and weight management.
