About Julio Clavijo-Alvarez
Dr. Julio Clavijo Alvarez was born and raised in Colombia, where he began his medical career serving underserved communities with little access to healthcare. He studied stem cell research in Spain, earning his PhD, then came to the United States and earned a research position at Harvard University working on reconstructive procedures. He later trained at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in the plastic surgery department. He has over 15 years of experience, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and specializes in body contouring procedures.
