About Joyce Yuan
Dr. Joyce Yuan is a double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon at Exceptional Dermatology Care. She graduated from UC Berkeley summa cum laude in Molecular and Cell Biology, earned her medical degree from the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, and completed three years of plastic surgery residency at the University of Kansas before switching to dermatology. She completed a Dermatology Clinical Research Fellowship at UCSF, her dermatology residency at UC San Diego, and a Mohs surgery fellowship at UCSF. She has led multiple clinical trials focused on skin cancer in high-risk populations and cosmetic dermatology and has published numerous research articles. She offers Mohs surgery and reconstruction, general dermatology for adults and children, and cosmetic dermatology, and is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese.
