About Jonathan Pontell

Dr. Jonathan Pontell is the founder and medical director of The Aesthetic Facial Plastic Surgery Center in Wayne, Pennsylvania, with more than 27 years of experience and over 4,000 facelifts performed. He earned his MD from Jefferson Medical College, completed an otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency at SUNY Health Science Center-Brooklyn, and a facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and previously served as Director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii and Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Hawaii School of Medicine. He volunteers through the AAFPRS Face-to-Face program for domestic violence survivors and Faces of Honor program for veterans.
