About John Bergeron

Dr. John Bergeron is a cosmetic surgeon whose practice is dedicated exclusively to body contouring, and the founder and medical director of Houston Lipo Center, which he opened in 2007. A native Texan raised in Galveston County, he earned an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Texas A&M University and attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He was among the first physicians in the country trained to perform SmartLipo laser-assisted liposuction and has completed more than 5,000 liposuction procedures, working exclusively in micro tumescent liposuction under local anesthesia. He also offers medically supervised weight-loss programs and is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.
