She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Boston University with dual degrees in Psychology and Biology and earned her MD from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She completed a clinical research fellowship and a six-year plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Southern California, training at hospitals including Cedars-Sinai and Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
