About Jill S. Melicher

Jill S. Melicher, M.D. is an ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgeon with Minnesota Eye Consultants, where she performs surgery of the upper and lower eyelids, the tear drainage system and the orbit. Her cosmetic practice covers eyelid surgery, endoscopic forehead lifts, dermal filler and botulinum toxin injections. She completed her undergraduate work at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, earned her medical degree at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School. She then finished a two-year fellowship in ophthalmic plastic, orbit and reconstructive surgery under Dr. Jeffrey Nerad at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the Cincinnati Eye Institute. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and was named a 2025 Minnesota Monthly Top Doctor in Ophthalmology.
