About Janet M. Neigel
Dr. Janet M. Neigel, MD, FACS is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic surgeon with decades of experience specializing in cosmetic and functional eyelid surgery. A New Jersey native, she graduated with honors in biology from Douglass College at Rutgers University and earned her M.D. from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, where she also completed her ophthalmology residency. She completed an orbital and oculofacial plastic surgery fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and is a Clinical Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. Her primary specialty is blepharoplasty, both cosmetic and functional. She is licensed in New Jersey, New York, and Florida.
