About James Hooper
James Hooper is the founder of Newport Beach Skin Tightening in Costa Mesa and the sole creator of the Butterfly Facelift, a non-surgical alternative to standardized treatments and cosmetic injections. The practice states explicitly that he is not a physician; his training is documented through certificates rather than a medical license. He worked at the Whitaker Wellness Institute in Newport Beach from 1995 to 2002 and at The Ghaly Center in Torrance from 2002 to 2010, then opened his own Costa Mesa studio in 2010. He completed AQ Skin Solutions Growth Factor and Microneedling training in 2016, Merz Aesthetics Ultherapy training in 2019, and InMode Evolve Tite, Trim and Tone training in 2020. He personally conducts consultations and has recorded more than 6,000 client visits since 2010.
