About Heather Mateja

Heather Mateja, FNP-C is the owner and medical director of Atlantic Aesthetics in Scarborough, Maine, which she founded and has run for close to four years. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than twenty years of clinical experience spanning orthopedics, urgent care, hospital medicine, intensive care and pediatrics before moving into aesthetic medicine. Her practice focuses on injectables, laser and energy-device treatments, peptide therapy and women's wellness. She prescribes and dispenses the clinic's weight-loss medications and peptides in-office.
