About Gary P. Lawton
Dr. Gary Lawton is a board-certified plastic surgeon whose San Antonio practice has been exclusively dedicated to cosmetic surgery of the breast and body for over two decades. He earned a BS in Chemical Engineering summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1986, graduating second in his class, then received his MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester in 1990 as a Senior Scholar in Surgery. He completed general surgery residency and chief residency and then plastic surgery residency at Yale University School of Medicine, earning the Corso Award for Plastic Surgery Research in 1999 and 2000. He has authored 24 peer-reviewed publications along with numerous abstracts and book chapters. His practice includes a private ambulatory surgery center.
